About the client:
The client is the government’s financial regulatory authority responsible for capital markets in Saudi Arabia. This government organization is equipped with full financial, legal, and administrative independence. Its responsibilities include setting and policing financial rules and regulations and developing the capital markets, this includes regulating the Tadawul, Saudi Arabia’s stock exchange.

The basic objectives are to create an appropriate investment environment, boost confidence, and reinforce transparency and disclosure standards in all listed companies, and moreover to protect the investors and dealers from illegal acts in the market.

What was the client’s objective?
Saudi’s Vision 2030 includes Saudization – the nationalization scheme to increase the employment of Saudi nationals in the private sector. This scheme aims to give Saudi nationals a fair opportunity in the job market and reduce the reliance on foreign workers.

With an aim to be aligned with this national scheme and promoting their national talent, the client wanted to ensure that its employees had a well-developed learning journey as a part of their career progression plan. They intended to equip their employees with globally recognized skills in the financial industry.
