Studying FR was quite a fun ride with some areas being very complicated, but the journey became smooth with the help of my trainer. He taught the course in the best manner, had expert knowledge and was helpful during the study sessions.

It’s important to know that APM is not an easy paper to pass and has very low pass rates compared to other optional papers in ACCA. I liked Waleed Sir’s teaching style because based on his experience he could guide me towards the areas that required more attention and also help me understand what the examiner’s expectations for an answer would be. The ACCA achievers program was a very well-organized 3-day skills development event that gave us a glimpse into the skills required to begin our professional journey.

I sat three papers in September and was awarded as the regional prize-winner in PM, and passed both FR and TX in my first attempt. I am currently 15 years old and studying in the 10th grade of school in Dubai. All the trainers in Kaplan are ACCA certified and the study material provided is easy to understand. The trainer gave me tips that were highly beneficial to answer the questions. She helped me to understand the concepts well by linking the concepts with real-life examples. The best advice I got was to practice to perfection and time management during the exam.

As an online student, the trainers were very inclusive in their teaching approach, they answered any questions ensuring that i understood the topics.

The ACCA achievers program was an amazing experience as it offered us the opportunity to be interviewed by a variety of reputed companies. I am thankful to Kaplan for helping me with my placement at EY. Overall, the program was managed extremely well by Kaplan to ensure the candidate’s safety during these uncertain times of COVID-19 and with utmost professionalism.

What I liked most about Kaplan was the attitude of the lecturers and the other staff. I always felt welcome at Kaplan and it made me feel like I could approach anyone and I would always be provided with what I needed. My lecturer guided, motivated, and did not give up on me even after I failed the first time. If not for him, I would not have been an ACCA Affiliate today.

Furthermore, we were given a good amount of practice on the CBE platform which helped me a lot during the actual exam. They also organize fun outings for their registered students and these outings helped me make new friends as well as get to know the lecturers better.

The advice that I would give to aspiring ACCA candidates would be never to give up no matter what comes your way. ‘Innovative’ is the one word that I would use to describe Kaplan as my lecturer always found a way to make learning fun.

I recently became an ACCA affiliate and am currently pursuing CMA from Kaplan Professional ME as well.  The quality of tutors and Kaplan’s study environment were the main factors that pulled me towards Kaplan. Another crucial aspect was the constant support Kaplan provides throughout the course, which helps in understanding where do we lie and how to constantly improve.

One word in which I would define Kaplan is “Supportive” since they take utmost care and become a significant part of a candidate’s career and take pride in the success of their candidates.

My experience at the organisation has been really good. I have learned new accounting softwares and have finally been able to aply my expertise practically. My day-to-day tasks include Bank reconciliation, using Microsoft Dynamics & Tally as well as auditing various clients. I am thankful to Kaplan for helping me get placed at EY.

I was a bit reluctant to change my training provider initially but I am really glad that I did! Currently, I am doing two courses with them and they are extremely understanding, approachable and keep me motivated to study well for my exams. They explain complex material even in their free time, which helps me answer my doubts immediately.
