Exam Structure - Four Papers

Students will understand businesses in the context of their environment, including economic, legal, and regulatory influences on aspects like governance, employment, health and safety, data protection, and security.

Students will learn different ways of managing finance within an organization with the aim of enhancing business performance and as a result will understand how organizations finance their operations, how to plan and control cash flows, how to make the best use of working capital, and the principles of making capital investment decisions.

Students will learn to demonstrate technical proficiency in the use of double-entry and accounting systems, report business transactions, understand the purpose of financial reporting, prepare a trial balance and basic financial statements for incorporated and unincorporated entities, prepare simple consolidated financial statements, and interpret financial statements.

Students will develop knowledge and skills in the understanding of the general legal framework, and of specific legal areas relating to business, recognizing the need to seek further specialist legal advice where necessary.

Fizzah is a qualified accountant and holds an accounting degree and credentials in Artificial Intelligence. She is a specialized tutor for ACCA’s applied knowledge level and has expertise in exams within this module of the ACCA qualification. She has been an active member in ACCA student circles, supporting students in their development and career mentoring for many years.

She has also worked for a long time in a stakeholder engagement role for an internationally accredited NPO, working on diverse projects and liaising with key stakeholders. At Kaplan Professional ME, she also works within the Advanced Designations team closely on the operational improvement of multiple qualifications. She looks at areas within B2C/B2B projects, student recruitment, and employability programs and assists the product heads in improving their offering.
